Welcome to "Ski Ranch Loft" - where comfort and convenience come together for the perfect getaway. This spacious two-bedroom plus loft is defined by its fantastic location, which is just a short 3.5 minute walk to or from the beginner level “Stampede” ski trail.  All of the Steamboat Ski Resort base area, including the two Gondolas, numerous restaurants & bars, and activities in both winter and summer, everything is within walking distance!  The condo itself is a fantastice place to call home.  Enjoy cozy evenings by the wood-burning fireplace or cook in the newly remodeled kitchen. 2 King beds make this property ideal for couples plus the bunk beds in the loft add space for kids or single adults.  For more details on this condo, please read on.

The Property:
As you enter the home, you’ll step onto the main level, where the spacious, open, and inviting Great Room awaits. With a cozy wood-burning fireplace, beautiful leather sofa, and a large HDTV, it’s the perfect spot to unwind after a day on the slopes or exploring all that Steamboat has to offer. The ceiling fan adds a nice touch, providing a refreshing breeze on warm summer days. A large covered private deck, just off the living room, is a private retreat surrounded by evergreen trees, and the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or an apres-ski beverage. In the kitchen, you'll find everything you need to prepare a delicious homemade meal. The stunning, one-of-a-kind cabinetry adds a touch of character and charm to the condo. The dining table seats six, plus there are 2 bar seats at the kitchen bar. The glow of the chandelier and natural light streaming through the large window in the Great Room makes the space feels bright. 

Also on the main level, you'll find Bedroom 1, featuring a king-sized bed, direct access to the deck, and an HDTV.  Bathroom 1 is both an ensuite bathroom as well as one with private access to the main living area.  It is accessed from a short hallway with doors at both ends.  This makes it possible to close the door to the living area, for that private ensuite bedroom feel.  At the same time, if someone in the loft or living room needed to use the bathroom, the bedroom door can be closed to ensure no one is disturbed. This bathroom includes a single-sink vanity that prioritizes counter space, and a walk-in shower with a sleek glass door. Across from the bathroom is a ski and coat storage area.

Upstairs, you'll find Bedroom 2 and the open loft. The loft is ideal for kids, featuring a twin-over-full bunk bed and a fun corner stocked with games. The loft offers direct access to a second outdoor space, perfect for enjoying some fresh air!  This private balcony faces the ski resort and you can see the Gondola whisking skiers up the mountain. Bedroom 2 includes a king-sized memory foam mattress, an HDTV, and an ensuite bathroom. Like Bathroom 1, this bathroom can be private to the bedroom, or accessible from the loft without intruding into the bedroom. This bathroom has a single-sink vanity and a shower with a cute bathtub base that includes a seat/footrest, and would be perfect for kids or babies.

Ski Ranch Loft has a hidden gem of a location.  This small, quiet development has only 8 units, and is conveniently located just a short 150-meter walk from the “Stampede” ski trail.  From there, you can walk or ski down about 50 meters to either the original Steamboat Gondola, the new Wild Blue Gondola, the Christie Peak Express lift, the ice rink, as well as all of the many shops, restaurants, and activities found in the ski resort base area.  When you stay at this home, you can head out to get fresh tracks in no time, and come home for a break or lunch with ease.  Prefer a ride?  This property is right on the free city bus route, providing easy year round access to downtown, the big supermarkets, and pretty much anywhere you might want to go.  There are also private shuttles available to and from the airports, the hot springs, snowmobiling and sleigh ride adventures, so guests who stay here in the ski season really don’t need a car.  If you’re coming in the summer, you might want a car for heading to the area’s state parks, national forest trailheads, or 3 wilderness areas, but you’ll also have easy access to the many hiking and biking trails, right from your door.  Also in summer, there are concerts, movies, art shows, brew fests, bike races, and other events to enjoy in the base area.  Burgess Creek flows through at a controlled water level, cascading down through past grassy lawns and sandy beach areas.  It’s a wonderful place to spend time.

– Accessing the property: There are 9 steps leading up to the front door of the home. Entry is on the main level.
– Parking: Parking is available for 2 vehicles max. This property has allocated parking spaces. One space is by the front door and the other is right on the back side of the condo.
– 4WD vehicle information: The roads to this property are well maintained. However, please note that your route to the area may include a mountain pass.  The roads in Steamboat which lead to and from this property are generally easy to navigate and well maintained.  When traveling during snow and winter weather conditions, 4 Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive and tires with good tread are recommended.

** Air Conditioning - Most mountain resort properties were not built with air conditioning.  During most hours of the day and weeks of the year, AC is not needed.  Summer nights are cool and fans are provided at most properties. Check the average high and low temperatures and weather forecast for your dates of travel, and look at the list of amenities to see if AC or fans are part of the rental property and look for ceiling fans in photos.
** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups.  Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size.  Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking.  The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required.  
** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Cameras are positioned to cover all entrances and exits of the home.  Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure and safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest and upfront about their planned use of the property.  If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value and quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, and you should not book the property.  For normal, respectful groups, we are sorry that these statements and measures are necessary.  Security cameras and noise monitoring devices are an example and demonstration that the property's owners are taking steps to ensure the home remains available for rental, and in good condition, for your benefit. ** Lengthy Rental Periods, Cancellation Policies, & Cleaning Fees - Long Term Rentals (28 nights or more) may be unacceptable under the standard cancellation policies listed online, which are designed to be only for short term rentals.  Long Term Rentals must be discussed and approved prior to booking online.  A long term rental / lease agreement may be required.  A Security Deposit will be required for all long term rentals, and mid-stay cleaning(s) / inspection(s) may be required.  The standard cleaning fee quoted as part of any booking is for the final cleaning, which is to be performed after the rental period has ended.  For guests who are booking a lengthy stay of more than one week, a mid stay-cleaning fee equal to the final cleaning fee may apply for the second week, third week, and so on.  If you are booking for a lengthy stay, please contact us before booking online to discuss your group, your dates, the rates, the cleaning schedule, etc.
